Daily Kos features an excellent recap of the Norfolk Four case in the Criminal InJustice Kos post, "Confessions, Innocence and Abolition."
On Tuesday, November 9, PBS Frontline broadcast a new documentary "The Confessions," (produced by renowned filmmaker Ofra Bikel) which examines the case of the Norfolk Four, four Navy men who were wrongfully convicted after being coerced into giving false confessions. The former sailors were freed from prison in 2009 after they were granted conditional pardons by then-Governor Timothy Kaine, but the fight continues through ongoing litigation to fully vacate their convictions.
