Texas is poised to execute Timothy Adams on February 22, 2011, in spite of staunch opposition to his death sentence from the victim’s family, three jurors from Mr. Adams’ trial, and his fellow church members. Mr. Adams is a devoutly religious military veteran who has taken full responsibility for what he did. He poses no danger to society and has the love and support of his family, who has already endured the tragic death of a loved one and should not be forced to endure another.
Ask the Texas Parole Board to recommend and Governor Rick Perry to grant clemency to Timothy Adams.
You can send a letter to the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles at:
Rissie Owens, Presiding Officer
Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles
P. O. Box 13401
Austin, Texas 78711-3401
You can e-mail Governor Rick Perry or send him a tweet, as well.
