Organizers are putting the finishing touches on an important symposium and a tribute to the life and work of David Baldus. Both will be held October 20th and 21st at the University of Iowa College of Law.
Final details and a website will be available in the coming weeks. I will post more information as it becomes available.

Friday, October 21, 2011 - Symposium
There will be three panels discussing Batson v. Kentucky and its legacy.
James J. Tomkovicz is organizing the Batson symposium. Eric G. Andersen and Emily Hughes are organizing the Baldus tribute panel.
Originally, David Baldus was to participate in the symposium. George Woodworth, David Zuckerman Robert Dunham, Catherine Grosso, and Richard Newell are working on the unfinished paper and hope to present it at the symposium.
The papers will appear in a special edition of the Iowa Law Review.
