Florida Gov. Rick Scott signed a death warrant for Chadwick Banks, a convicted double murderer in the 1992 slaying of his wife and stepchild.
Banks is scheduled to die by lethal injection on Nov. 13.

After pleading no contest to the crimes, Banks was found guilty of two counts of first-degree murder and one count of sexual assault on a victim under 12 years old by a Gadsden County jury in 1994. The jurors voted 9-3 to recommend the death penalty.His direct appeals have been denied by the Florida Supreme Court.
