The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports, "Missouri sets November execution date for Jackson County murderer."
The Missouri Supreme Court has set an execution date for Jackson County killer Leon Taylor, who shot a gas station attendant in the head in front of the man's young stepdaughter.
Taylor is scheduled to die by lethal injection on Nov. 19, the Supreme Court announced Monday morning.
This would be the 10th execution in Missouri this year. On Oct. 29, Mark A. Christeson is scheduled to be the 9th person executed. He killed a woman and her two children in central Missouri.
